The tree is vigorous and will start to fruit from a young age. supplied as a bare rooted specimen 150cm / 5 feet. The variety is self sterile so needs a pollinator. Malus John downie is always an excellent pollinator.  Tom Putt was named after the Reverend Tom Putt who was the rector of Trent roughly 200 years ago.

Apple Tower of Glamis is a hardy cooking apple originating from Scotland in roughly 1800. A self fertile variety, the fruit is odd shaped, bright green and when cooked becomes pale lemon, sweet soft and fluffy. The fruit is usually picked in october and can be stored from november through to february. Growth is compact and upright and the tree is an excellent choice for northern gardens. Supplied bare rooted from november to march, 150cm / 5 feet high.
